Keshab, who is all set to release his self title album this Dashain.
Multitalented Araj has proved his skills in singing, composing, writing
lyrics, directing videos to even being a Recodist and handling the
camera. He says “I had even worked as a VJ in Garima FM but due to lack
of time I had quit the job some months back”.
Nepali music industry has not seen many socially active performers as
Nirnaya Shrestha. He has time and again proved that he supports
positive social change through what he does best making music and
singing. This is a lesson to be learnt by all Nepali music performers
and artists to help in building the “New Nepal” in the smallest
possible way.
Badha Parun Remix shot up Suman Shrestha’s popularity to new heights. With his new album on the cards Suman Shrestha handling the dual role of a Manager at Reeyaz music and a Singer is also busy singing in collaboration with other artists like DJ Yuva and DJ Tantrik. The recently released video of DJ Tantrik’s album “Kun Desh Ki Chari” vocalized by Suman is gathering rave reviews and he has also song “Diunla Yo Joban” for DJ Yuva’s next album.
Mt.8848 climbed the Nepali music charts with their debut album-”Yo
Sansar” and are again all set to bang the charts with their second
album coming shortly. The band's up coming
album’s name is "Jiu ko masu" and the new album will include 10 songs. It’s being recorded at Chromatic Sound Studio,
Anamnagar and is being marketed by Reeyaz music. Jazz, Blues and Nepali
Folk are the genres, which the band has worked upon in the new album.
Golden Academy at Naya Baneshwor became the meeting spot of media
personnel and who’s who of Nepali music scene for the music launch of
24 Carat by GM Pradhan. From the veteran singers like Prem Dhoj
Pradhan, Om Bikram Bista to the new kids on the block like Araj Keshab
and Prashan Shakya all had gathered for the lauch of the album. The
album was made public jointly by Prem Dhoj Pradhan and Om Bikram bista
and two videos, one from the same album was also premiered at the event.
Army Club at Sahid Gate become the melting pot of around one hundred
and fifty well wishers and media personnel to mark the debut album
launch of a doctor to be Digbijay Khadka. The album was made public by
Nepal Army Chief General Rookmangud Katawal in a cordial environment
hosted at the Army Club. The program scheduled early but started late
with a warm welcome to our Nepal Army Chief. The album has been named
Digbijay.
After the success of “Rat Bitauna” video, Mt. 8848 released their next video “Saathi Saal” from their album “Yo Sansar”. Saathi is a very groovy track that gets stuck to your head from the word go and the video also compliments this feel. The video is made in a unique way where the black and white video with the model segments rendered in color and the lyrics given as caption/subtitle makes this video stand out of the rest of the videos out in the market now.

In this ear where remix albums are mushrooming like anything we got a chance to review Rewind : 2. The video of “Kun Desh Ki Chari” vocalized by Suman Shrestha original song by Hikmat B. Mali is out and gathering rave reviews from all the music lovers. The cover portrays a young girl being mesmerized by remixed music I guess.
