Mt.8848 climbed the Nepali music charts with their debut album-”Yo
Sansar” and are again all set to bang the charts with their second
album coming shortly. The band's up coming
album’s name is "Jiu ko masu" and the new album will include 10 songs. It’s being recorded at Chromatic Sound Studio,
Anamnagar and is being marketed by Reeyaz music. Jazz, Blues and Nepali
Folk are the genres, which the band has worked upon in the new album.
Marcia Adhikari a new singer is all set to rock us all with her slow
rock and alternative rock tracks. The young and beautiful Marcia is
just sixteen but ready to take over the Nepali music scene with her
tranquilizing voice.
A proficient drummer and singer Santosh Thapa came up with his
innovative collection Safatik on market. Album was released on 15 June
2008 at Celebration Pub Thamel. Rajendra Grung principal/music director
of Nepal police school and secretary of music association of Nepal had
inaugurated the album.
Sixteen, lively and pretty Marcia Adhikari is all set to hit the Nepali music scene like a storm down under. Defining music as a form of expression and her passion she also dreams to make it big in the acting domain in the future after joining a film school. Though without any formal training but her voice quality and American accent will make you listen to her songs again and again. For that you will have to wait till October or November 2008.
Six years back the musical voyage of Drabyaz band got underway when they were in their eighth standard in Biratnagar. Them they were known as Mirage Guys who were rock performers but with shift of genre to Rock and Rap-core
they renamed themselves to Drabyaz.
