Najau Maya by Palan Bimali shoot at Beer Bar

Palan Bimali is a new singer on the block, who’s coming up with his solo debut album; the album has not been named till now. We were present on the video shoot for one of the album’s song-“Najau Maya Chodera”.The album is being produced by Maya Productions and the record label is Santana Records. The song was catchy but this is not about the song, it’s about the video. So, here we go.

When we reached the venue everybody was sweating, giving us the hint on how much the crew was working. They had been shooting for a straight 4 hrs before we reached the location. Everybody present on the location was working hard to get things done. But, as tense as the environment was, so was fun. Everybody was having fun and especially UJK. During our coverage there, the video director and choreographer were trying to get the rap part correct. The part included our rap artist hanging with some lovely ladies. Numerous retakes did not seem to bother UJK or anyone else for that matter.

The theme of the video was that, a drug deal is taking place in a bar and the lead model Ashok is trying to woo Anu, by singing and dancing on stage, with his backup dancers. The set consisted of the DJ at the back & the dancers, singer & models taking the front stage. The part was about the DJ grooving everyone to his music while the artists and models were dancing and having fun at the bar.

The choreographer for the video was Kumar Achammi and was being directed by Saurab Raj.The lead models were Ashok, Anu, Rubi and Palan himself. The rap part was done by a promising upcoming rap-artist-“UJK” who has lend his rap talent to few other songs before. This new video is set to hit the TV screens in about a month’s time and so is the album.
